GM has announced its OnStar self-moving Crash Response technology that is able to transmit “basic telemetry from a crash, including GPS location, the crash’s severity, and whether the car’s airbags deployed.” that new tool is known as Injury Severity Prediction which will analyze the collected documents further, attempting to predict whether the crash would have caused severe injury to passengers. Sounds interesting, but that is one piece of technology that we hope we won’t be involved in when it gets to work.
