Google To Improve The Net (Again) With SPDY

Google is certainly busy trying to improve the Net, and next on its agenda seems to be SPDY, what looks like Google’s notion of a replacement for HTTP. SPDY is able to handle multiple streams of details at once and prioritize them on the fly, meaning that whether the background image of a site is taking too faraway to load, it won’t hold back the rest of the site from being loaded. From the lab tests, it seems that Google found SPDY to improve load times 55% by HTTP, which is certainly intriguing. Of course, browsers will have to support it first, not to mention the websites themselves. Regardless of the challenges, it’s still good to see Google moving forward.
