We have reported several of the new changes that we will be seeing here in the next iPhone firmware version 2.2. What may come as a surprise is that the iPhone Dev Team has already been able to jailbreak it. Is there anything they can’t do?

It seems that every times a new version comes out the iPhone Dev Team is able to crack it sooner than the last moment. There is no way that they could crack it any sooner than that, the official release period of the 2.2 firmware has not even been announced. These guys deserve a real pat on the back for their quick efforts to keep the ball rolling for iPhone owners. Now users do not have to wait to get all the new features and still have a jailbroken iphone.  All they have left to do is unlock the iPhone which seems to be a very hard task, but they are showing great improvements in that area as well.
