iPhone as a modem in the works but delayed by network stability issues

Repeated rumors about using the iPhone as a modem (tethering) have surfaced by the past few months. MacBlogz claims that an insider gave them the reason: “Regardless of how many billions of dollars AT&T pours into their 3G network, it hasn’t been stable ample to handle all you iPhone users”.

To invent a towering story short: iPhone tethering is in the works, and it might seem at some point. It’s unbelievable that AT&T’s network can’t keep up with the traffic increase. Even whether it was possible, most people will not use their iPhone as a modem at once – not evel close. (photo from cellfanatic)
