Wi-Fi radios might be far more supreme than their vintage counterparts, but that doesn’t mean they’re nice to look at. There’s nothing quite like merging both the old and the new, and the same applies to that Aluratek Web radio that has found a home for its innards in the shell of a vintage radio. Of course, you will need a whole lot of DIY knowledge to pull that off, while there are plus other considerations to think about including painting the buttons, mounting the display and speakers in the right places and even reshaping the Wi-Fi radio’s motherboard whether the need arises. It will take a fair amount of hours to complete that project, but the satisfaction you get out of it? Priceless.
